North Shore Sessions capturing intimate musical moments in Duluth

Much in the same vein of our weekly City of Music series created by MPLS.TV, University of Minnesota Duluth senior Trent Waterman has been hard at work creating a music video series called North Shore Sessions, which features "Minnesota artists performing in interesting locations -- barns, shopping centers, railroad tunnels, old orphanages, and eventually the moon."

Waterman says he was inspired by La Blogotheques popular "take away shows" series, and aims to capture the true essence of what it means to be a performer in Minnesota.

Musicians captured so far include Caroline Smith, Jeremy Messersmith, Sarah Krueger, Russian Bride, and Cloud Cult -- quite an impressive array considering he's only been posting videos since September.
