Hastings 3000 tour diary, Vol. 1

​One-man-masked-band Hastings 3000 is in the midst of his first tour, which will find him jetting out to the West Coast, Hawaii, and Japan. Here's the first installment of his tour diary, including photos and videos from his trip compiled by Hastings 3000, and check back throughout the next two weeks for more updates from his tour.

From Mpls to Denver, Denver to Los Angeles, 2 degrees to 57 degrees, I left LAX to head to the Cat Club on Sunset Strip for my debut show in LA.

To kick off the tour, I traded in my 18-year-old pair of Chucks for a brand new pair of Chucks at a shoe store in LA:

My first gig in LA was at the Cat Club. I ended my set by crossing Sunset Boulevard:




While walking down Hollywood Boulevard, I had the chance to meet Hello Kitty:

Once in Vegas I headed to the Peppermill, where the Rat Pack used to hang off the strip. Here I am hanging at the fire pit!




This is the second video at the Peppermill, where I am beginning to multiply, foreshadowing the Best New Band showcase this Wednesday night at First Ave. I'll be playing live from Hawaii via Skype, the first band to do a live streaming simulcast performance!
