Ozzy Osbourne couldn't convince Slash or Rob Halford to brave Minneapolis in January
Halford was slotted as the opening act for all 15 dates of Ozzy's North American tour, but the final two dates were postponed due to "complications" from an ear infection. With Halford done with his leg of the tour, there were rumors that Slash might sign on as an opener for the rescheduled date in Minneapolis -- but alas, it looks like Osbourne couldn't convince any of his cohorts to brave the Midwest's frozen tundra in January.
Slash was hobnobbing with Ozzy Osbourne just yesterday at a press event at the House of Blues in LA, and is set to join Ozzy for most of the second leg of his arena tour. But according to Slash's Twitter, he's spending the week rehearsing for the tour and won't join Ozzy on the road until January 18 in Houston.
Additional miscellaneous fact: Slash signs his tweets with little emoticon renditions of himself. Cute! Iii|B )'
Tickets from Ozzy's original December 12 show will be honored at tomorrow night's show, and the ticket prices remain the same. Here's hoping "An Evening with Ozzy" stretches out long enough to make the night worth his fans' money.
