Usher's 'OMG' and Homer Simpson, a match made in internet heaven

​A week ago, we were musing about the similarities between Britney Spears' new single "Hold it Against Me" and the Bellamy Brothers' 1979 country classic "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me." (Last we heard, by the way, the Brothers were considering legal action.) The comparisons made sense, especially since both songs had similar pop structures and lyrical themes.

But today, we stumbled on something that points out an even more ridiculous, eerie similarity: A YouTube video is claiming that Usher's hit "OMG" rips off a little ditty sung by Homer on The Simpsons.

Oh, internet.

The video already has over a million views. Our favorite comment so far: "The only difference between these songs is that the simpsons one is shitty ON PURPOSE."
