Def Leppard and Heart coming to Minnesota State Fair

​Time to enter into the musty depths of your closet and find that old acid-washed jean jacket and tattered rock tee (or just head to Hot Topic, I guess) -- you're going to have the perfect place to wear that stuff this summer. As if the State Fair weren't already the ideal spot for it, Heart and Def Leppard are convening badass buttrock forces to play the State Fair ampitheater on Friday, August 26, according to Leppard's publicist. 

Armageddon, indeed.

Def Leppard first played the State Fair in 1994 with (brace yourselves for '90s cultural whiplash) Ugly Kid Joe.  Heart on the bill this time will undoubtedly make for a more memorable experience.

"Nancy and I are really excited to be bringing Heart to the stage this summer with Def Leppard. It's going to be a powerful, monster show -- the real thing," Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson said in the release. "The summer of 2011 will be amazing."
