Dessa premieres new live video, 'Sadie Hawkins,' via MN Original

Rapper, writer, poet, and songwriter Dessa has been on a constant climb of late, garnering loads of press last year for her solo debut, A Badly Broken Code, completing a successful tour and trip to SXSW with her crew, Doomtree, and launching her first headlining tour of the US this spring with Sims and Lazerbeak.

In honor of all of this ass-kicking, tpt's MN Original is dedicating a full hour of programming to exploring Dessa's craft -- the first time in the show's history that they've aired a full hour-long program on one local artist.

As a preview for this weekend's episode, "Dessa: A Minnesota Original Music Special," MN Original and Gimme Noise are partnering to debut a video of the fierce songsmith performing "Sadie Hawkins" live at the Cedar, which you can check out below.
