Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard coming to the Orpheum

​Two critically acclaimed frontmen from divergent rock backgrounds will converge to play solo sets at the Orphuem on July 2: Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, who is touring in support of his new solo album, plus the Swell Season and the Frames' Glen Hansard (perhaps best known to mainstream audiences for his role in the movie Once).

Vedder is getting ready to release Ukulele Songs on May 31, which, as the title suggests, is a collection of original songs and covers performed on ukulele.

Tickets for the show in Minneapolis are $79 and go on sale next Friday, April 1, at 1 p.m.
