Target in hot water for believing in what makes sense to them and to those who support them including stock holders...alright if you say so Andrea. The right to support a belief is a given right for both parties. Target is doing what they want to do while not breaking into pieces to satisfy others with beliefs they do not want to involve them selves with. Target will always have my business as long as they hold true and not become fake or weak to satisfy the ones they don't agree with . Freedom of choice applies to everyone . Stop telling Target that they're wrong just because they have a different point of view. What gay activists are doing to the Christian believer is equivalent to a straight person attacking a gay person ... Bullying those who don't agree and doing so with more force. I love Target!

One of the choices is to respect life in all aspects. If a store or church sponsors something that is detremental to our freedoms, we can choose to take our business and our lives elsewhere. I have tried to behave like a true Christian in my life, but people like the Westboro Baptists and nutbags like Beck remind me that so called Christians need to rethink their love of Jesus. After all, wasn't Jesus a socialist? Would he spew the same hate I see on the newsmedia daily? Hardly. He would be rather saddened.

Target doesn't run their own advertising, they outsource to advertising agencies. You can't blame the advertising firms for not being right on top of company politics.

They do most of their advertising in house now. From the looks of the campaign they had going, I guarantee it was planned, concepted and designed by Target employees.

Target is a business. That means that when they support people running for office, they support them for their business policy. It just so happened that some of the people they donated to also didn't support LGBT rights. What a surprise, though, Lady Gaga took something small and made a big deal out of it to get some attention.

It's not something small, at all. Actions have consequences. To support only the business side of a candidate, while ignoring their other views, is myopic and counterproductive.

And good for Lady Gaga for giving a sh*t about LGBT issues. If Target supports politicians that promulgate discrimination, they deserve any derision they get.

Good for Lady Gaga. Target has every right to align themselves with whatever political viewpoint they want. Free speech, of course, has consequences. If Lady Gaga can't in good conscience work exclusive deals with Target based on Target's political statements, good for her for turning her back on the money. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out Lady Gaga understands her demographic base better than Target understands theirs, in political terms on LGBT issues.

Yes way to go Target and celebrity . Both because they believe in one side of an issue and are are holding true and strong to their beliefs may they be right or wrong. Now check with how Target has responded to Lady Gaga's decision ... Quite the opposite of how Lady Gaga has responded to Target's decision. I don't see or hear Target implying in any way shape or form that she's wrong or in hot water etc. You see those who oppose gay beliefs are being attacked verbally and even physically. What makes that right or any different than the guy who beats up on a gay person...what gives Lady Gaga the right to say that Target made a mistake about their beliefs? Can Target say Lady Gaga made a mistake about her beliefs? Don't think they ever did or ever will. She is wrong and disrespectful. Don't think she or her supporters would like that if Target and or their supporters did said she was making a mistake to believe what it is she believes . Again freedom of choice is to be respected may you agree or disagree. On a personal level I will continue to support Target and as a Christian I will be gentle with those I don't support yet strong with my christian beliefs .

First and foremost, I forgive you for being a "Christian". Religion of any kind tend to confuse the human senses and logic. But in the world I would love to live in you would be more than welcome. Live and let live is how I live my life. Now if I may, your premise that both of them, Target and Lady Gaga are correct has no value. You are attempting to compare a living human being to an entity that exits with no other purpose than profits. Corporations should stick to their business and let the human beings handle the political process without strings or propaganda.
