Slug's senior portrait unearthed by the Hennepin County Library

Now here's a history project I can get behind: The Hennepin County Library has been slowly unearthing and digitizing its vast High School Yearbook Collection, which dates all the way back to the early 1900s, and posting some gems to its Tumblr page.

Their latest find? A Washburn High School senior portrait of 1990 grad Sean Daley, known to most as Slug of Atmosphere. The library also points out that "Mr. Daley was a Student Gym Aide and a member of the Cultural Development Leadership Group (C.D.L.G.)."

The yearbook archive is part of Hennepin County Library's Special Collection, which is searchable online and includes historic photos of the city, old maps, oral history interviews, and more.

You don't know Slug, but apparently are an authority on lameness in rapping. Way to know exactly one white rapper, and not one of the most important underground hip hop artists of the past 15 years. I hope you continue to enjoy your Kid n' Play and C+C Music Factory for years to come.

you are insane...vanilla wasn't a rapper..he could rapped to my make words ryhme..he was a pop singer...atmoshpere is a true poet, he doesn't rap about cars and he raps about real life..and does it superbely..put it's in real emotions that everyone can relate to execpt for you...but you obviously aren't too bright. Don't hate on what you don't know.
