Four stellar local bands are rallying for Japan at the Triple Rock tonight for a fundraiser organized by Japanese punk duo Birthday Suits. Pink Mink, the Gateway District, and Still Pacific are also on the bill.

"What better way to help than to watch Hideo do high kicks?," Pink Mink guitarist Arzu Gokcen posted on her Facebook page, referring to Birthday Suits singer and guitarist Hideo Takahashi. "In other words..every high kick helps!"

In addition to donating all of the proceeds from the door to the Red Cross for Japan relief efforts, Birthday Suits will be raising additional funds by selling some rare 7" vinyl pieces from their past projects, including these five releases:

Das Boot/Sweet J.A.P. split 7"
The Reds/Sweet J.A.P. split 7"
Kill-A-Watts/Sweet J.A.P. split 7"

The Marked Men/Birthday Suits split 7"

A BENEFIT FOR JAPAN with Birthday Suits, Pink Mink, the Gateway District, and Still Pacific takes place TONIGHT, APRIL 1, at the TRIPLE ROCK SOCIAL CLUB. 18+. $10. 9 p.m.
