Bon Iver announce release date, track listing for new album

The backstory for Bon Iver's debut, For Emma, Forever Ago, had quite the romantic (and romaticized) backstory, and it sounds like the new record has a similarly intriguing tale -- it was recorded over a three-year period by Vernon and his brother, Nate, in an abandoned veterinarian's clinic. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of 500 bloggers composing ledes about that fact simultaneously.
Other things we know: the album features touring Bon Iver bandmates Sean Carey, Mike Noyce, and Matt McCaughan, in addition to contributions from Rob Moose (Antony and the Johnsons, The National), Vernon's Volcano Choir bandmates Jim Schoenecker and Tom Wincek, Greg Leisz (Lucinda Williams, Bill Frisell), and a horn section including Colin Stetson (Tom Waits, Arcade Fire), Mike Lewis (Andrew Bird, Happy Apple), and C.J. Camerieri (Rufus Wainwright, Sufjan Stevens).
