Communion summer rooftop parties move to Crave on May 29

​The Crave takeover continues this month as the restaurant brand expands to open its fourth location, this time in downtown Minneapolis where Palomino once operated.  This afternoon it was officially announced that the popular Communion rooftop parties will move from Solera to Crave starting on opening day, Sunday, May 29.

​Easily the most popular event series of the summer for more than five years running, the rooftop parties promoted by local DJs Dustin Zahn, Jay Strangelove and Steve Centrific have made for some great dance music moments in Minneapolis -- DJs and producers who play on the weekend sometimes extending their stay just to rock the roof. 

Zahn posted a pic of the rooftop construction on Facebook today (right) and urged supporters to keep tabs on the patio ordinance proposed months ago by City Council's Meg Tuthill and to join the 'Minneapolitians For Going Outside' group on FB.

We've got less than three months to get our sunshine on, so we're definitely in favor of what feels like allowing summertime to be summertime.
