It's hard to believe that Grand Old Day is already just around the corner, but "St. Paul's first rite of summer" is happening next Sunday, June 5. For the first time this year, Gimme Noise is sponsoring one of the stages at the festival, which will be located in the parking lot outside of Walgreens near Grand and Grotto and features Communist Daughter, Chris Koza, and the Arms Akimbo.
To commemorate the occasion, local artist Liam McMonagle created a poster for the Gimme Noise stage at Grand Old Day, and you can see a large size of his work below. Also, keep an eye on our Gimme Noise
Facebook and
Twitter in the coming week, when we'll be giving away some Grand Old Day wristbands (normally $8) for free admission into the festival gardens.
