In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Pearl Jam announced last night that it will be hosting a full weekend of festivities called PJ20 -- and the festival's destination is only about a six-hour drive from the Twin Cities at East Troy, Wisconsin's Alpine Valley.

All of the bands on the bill will perform both nights, September 3 and 4. In addition to Pearl Jam, the lineup includes the Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, John Doe, Joseph Arthur, Glen Hansard and Liam Finn.

Tickets go on sale for members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club on May 23, and to the general public on June 4. Individual tickets are $89 reserved, $50 lawn, and there are also package deals and shuttle services available from nearby major metro areas. More info at PJ20.com.

In other news: Yes, it's been 20 years since Pearl Jam released its breakout debut record Ten, and yes, we are all incredibly, incredibly old.
