Rock 'n' Roll Swap Meet returns to the Hex this Friday night

Nothing says summer like hawking all your wares at a garage sale or flea market, which is the basis for this Friday's Rock 'n' Roll Swap Meet at the Hexagon Bar. As organizer Howard Hamilton of Red Pens says, there are "NO RULES and it's FREE," which means that everyone from jewelry makers to clothing designers to collectors of vintage knick-knacks to people just looking to unload a few extra items around the house are welcome to set up shop at the Hex.

In addition to the swap meet, Friday will also feature a headlining performance by Red Pens, who have been off the grid of late while Hamilton recovers from an emergency gallbladder surgery, along with openers Lilian & the Harveys and Kitten Forever.

As with all shows at the Hex, there's no cover, and anyone looking to participate in the swap meet should show up by 8:30 p.m.
