| '90s mainstay making a comeback? |
Our friends over at West Coast Sound in Los Angeles have the scoop on the
new track from The Smashing Pumpkins. The band have been releasing songs from their new album one at a time, and this is #10 down the line -- of
a whopping 44 on
Teargarden By Kaleidyscope.
Of that many tracks, surely a few will stand up to the band's most celebrated hits, but the news we're excited about is the fact that Corgan & Co. have finally gained the rights to their unreleased material and will be putting out renewed versions of their best albums.
Says Keith Plocek at WCS:
Fans can expect remastered reissues of Gish, Siamese Dream and Pisces Iscariot by Christmas, complete with extra tracks. The next year will bring Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, The Aeroplane Flies High and Adore, while 2013 will see Machina I and Machina II reissued with the songs in the correct running order.
