As we reported earlier this week, there was an outpouring of emotion and support for the remaining members of Face Candy who performed for the first time since Mikey "Eyedea" Larsen's passing last October at Memorial Day weekend's Soundset 2011 festival.

Carrying on with most of the freestyle improv duties was member Kristoff Krane, who was joined by fellow MCs and friends including Carnage, Joe Horton of No Bird Sing, Sadistik and 2Mex among others to pay tribute to Eyedea and his vision for the band.

Since the release of the final recording from Micheal "Eyedea" Larsen last month, Face Candy's Waste Age Teen Land has been making the rounds for hip hop and jazz fans and offering a document of the complex ideas behind the band and the sessions from which the record spawned.

A series of web videos called "Wasted Teens" that reflect on the Face Candy concept and Micheal's life and talents has been rolled out, giving fans of his music, personality and spirit a chance to hear firsthand from those who were close to the man.

Three new videos have been released this week to provide more insight into the record which, under the circumstances, could be considered one of the more important local releases of the decade so far.
