Ticket giveaway: Communist Daughter and Me & My Arrow at the Loring

Categories: Ticket Giveaway
Two bands who have undergone recent reinventions will showcase their new lineups this Friday night at the Loring Theater.

Communist Daughter lost two of its members recently when drummer Steve Yasgar and keyboardist Lee VanLith moved to Colorado this spring, and have since added masterful drummer Ian Prince to their live band.

Me & My Arrow, meanwhile, downsized considerably when members of Phantom Tails to focus on their own project, and have since been replaced by Shannon Frid of Cloud Cult on violin, Sarah Schneeberger on bass and Shon Troth (formerly of Solid Gold) on slide guitar to create more stripped-down versions of lead singer Jacob Grun's lush orchestral-rock songs.

Got all that?

These two bands will perform in their new arrangements at the Loring along with opener Demographics, and we'd like to send some of our readers to the show for free. We have five pair of tickets to give away for this Friday night's show, and all you have to do is leave a comment below telling us why you want to go to the show.

Important note: Be sure to use a working email address, as this is how we will contact our winners. Your email will not be visible and won't be used for any other purpose.

Me & My Arrow, Communist Daughter, and Demographics will play this Friday, June 24 at the Loring Theater. All ages. $10/$12 at the door. 7 p.m. doors.
