Bon Iver helping to curate new Pitchfork Music Festival Paris

This is just about the MOST PITCHFORK THING we've heard about in a great while, but bear with us, it also seems pretty cool. Ye Old P4k announced today that they will be taking a swing at their first solo-run festival abroad (they have previously collaborated with Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival and the UK's All Tomorrow's Parties), and this time the influential indie site will be taking on Paris.

To add to the Pitchforky-ness of this announcement, they will also be enlisting the help of their besties Bon Iver to select the acts for the second day of the two-day festival. Gayngs Affiliyated goes to Paris, perchance?

The whole thing goes down October 28-29 at La Grande Halle de la Villette, which is described as a 5,000-capacity "stunning 19th century glass and metal structure" nestled in the middle of a large cultural park. Seriously.

Other confirmed acts include Jens Lekman, Wild Beasts, Cut Copy, Kathleen Edwards, and Pantha du Prince, and just in case you're thinking of trying to justify that plane ticket to Paris, the festival only costs about 80 Euros for both days.

We imagine it'll be something like this, with just a few more people:
