The government shutdown affected a few live music events in the Twin Cities, namely the series Mill City Live at the Mill City Museum in downtown Minneapolis and 9 Nights of Music at the History Center in downtown St. Paul. With the shutdown finally resolved, Mill City Live will resume/kick-off tonight with a performance by "Spider" John Koerner and Tony Glover, the two surviving performers of the legendary West Bank blues trio Koerner, Ray and Glover.

Here are the remaining Mill City performances on the books:

July 21 "Spider" John Koerner & Tony Glover
July 28 Molly Maher & Her Disbelievers
August 4 The Hypstrz / Mighty Mofos
August 11 Adam Levy & Friends
August 18 Curtiss A & The Jerks of Fate

All shows are $5, all ages, and run from 6-8 p.m. The cover charge also includes admission into the Mill City Museum from 4-9 p.m. on the night of the show.
