Rilo Kiley are officially broken up, guitarist Blake Sennett bitterly declares

​As part of a scathing interview indicting his bandmates for "a lot of deception, disloyalty, and greed," Rilo Kiley guitarist Blake Sennett said that the once-popular indie band is now officially kaput. The band, whose frontwoman Jenny Lewis has gone on to a successful solo career and is currently touring with her boyfriend Johnathan Rice as Jenny & Johnny, released what is now their final record, Under the Blacklight, back in 2007. "I just thought, 'I'm not going to put myself in that position again,' so I said, 'F--- that, I can't do this anymore,'" Sennett tells AOL's Spinner, breaking the news today.

Sennett says he hopes that the band issues a final album of unreleased material, especially because he's not particularly proud of their last offering. "I don't think it was our best record by far," he told Spinner. "I think that it could have been our best but I think we were under pressure. There were some of our best songs on that record but some of our worst songs."
