Dawes and Blitzen Trapper to co-headline First Ave on November 4

​Roots rock fans, get ready: Dawes and Blitzen Trapper just announced a co-headlining bill that hits First Avenue on November 4th. Dawes will be continuing a seemingly never-ending tour behind their sophomore release, Nothing Is Wrong, which came out earlier this summer. They're also still riding out the positive reviews from the Middle Brother album, which features a collaboration between Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith of Dawes, Matt Vasquez of The Delta Spirit, and John McCauley of Deer Tick.

Pacific Northwest folksters Blitzen Trapper have a new one coming out on Sub Pop September 13th, titled American Goldwing. Pre-sale tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. EST, and you can also pick up a limited edition tour shirt or discounted CD from either band with your tickets as well. Score.
