Kanye West and Jay-Z have been taking fans in the Twin Cities on a roller coaster ride this week -- and not the fun kind with glitter cannons and verses about which rapper's watch cost more money. No, this roller coaster found people getting amped up over the announcement of an October 8 show at the Target Center, only to be left hanging a week later when we learned that the show might be rescheduled
. And now? We're being plunged into the depths of disappointment as we find out the Minneapolis stop has been canceled all together.
The final word came in tonight from Live Nation, who just released the confirmed set of re-routed tour dates. Kanye and Jay-Z's "Watch the Throne" tour was slated to launch September 22, but has now the tour kick-off has been pushed back to October 29 and several dates have been axed.
If it's any consolation, dudes offered up a statement to the cities that got jerked around, via a press release: "Jay-Z and Kanye West thank their fans for their support and hope to return in the future."
For those looking for a winter road trip, the Throne will still come to Chicago on December 1.
