Lil Wayne falls off skateboard, busts head open [VIDEO]

Lil Wayne fell off a skateboard and needed nine stitches.

Lil Wayne is recovering from a fall off his skateboard that left a gash in his head and required nine stitches to close.

The 28-year-old suffered his accident in St. Louis, after Weezy's performance at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. He showed up at the DePaul Health Center's emergency room with a large entourage to receive medical attention to close the cut over his left eye.

Weezy took to his Twitter account to break the news of the mishap and reassure fans that the "I Am Still Music" tour will not be interrupted.
