With the release of Mason Jennings' ninth studio album, Minnesota, coming up on September 13, the Twin Cities-based singer-songwriter has unveiled a small series of dates that will bring him around the state for a series of free shows. Jennings partnered with the Current and nonprofit Hunger-Free Minnesota for shows in Minneapolis, Duluth, and Mankato, that will give fans a chance to preview the new songs in intimate settings like in those early days when he made his name playing coffee shops around the state.

In addition to his dates with the Current, Jennings will also be making a few other appearances in the metro area, including singing the National Anthem at Target Field for a Twins home game and performing an in-store at the Electric Fetus.
