Stevie Nicks ticket giveaway: Win one of 5 pair of tickets to her Mystic Amphitheater show

Categories: Ticket Giveaway

Having spent the last 40 years in the music business, Stevie Nicks hardly needs an introduction. As both a successful solo artist and a member of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks has established herself as a reigning queen of rock and roll, known as much for her distinctive style and stage presence as she is for her soul-baring songwriting.

Though the full Fleetwood Mac lineup doesn't have plans to tour until at least 2012, both Nicks and her onetime boyfriend and songwriting partner Lindsey Buckingham (who is coming to the Pantages on September 16) are both pursuing successful solo tours this summer and fall.

Nicks will perform this Wednesday, August 24, at Mystic Lake Casino's new outdoor amphitheater, and we want to send five of our readers and their friends to the show for free.

To enter our Stevie Nicks ticket giveaway contest:

1. "Like" us on Facebook, which you can do right here:

2. Leave a comment below telling us your favorite Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac song. (Be sure to either sign in using one of your social media accounts through our Disqus commenting system or use a working email address when you comment, as this is how we will contact our winners. I would have to say, I love RHIANNON, due to the fact that I have a dance routine a friend and I made to it in high school. It brings me a good giggle and a laugh. Also, and I dont really know why, but when I listen to GYPSY, everything in life seems a heck of a lot better.

I fell in love with Fleetwood Mac when I watched them perform Rhiannon on The Midnight Special. I think I have nearly all of Stevie's solo hits so it's hard to pick a favorite..I love Stop Dragging My Heart Around.

Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night and wouldn't you love to love her?

LOVE STEVIE! I love everything she does! Dreams, Stand Back, Night Bird, Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon, Stop Dragging My Heart Around, Edge of Seventeen just to name a few. Being forced to name a favorite, right now I would pick "Landslide".

Gypsy... Grew up with Fleetwood Mac, largely thanks to my mom who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January....she's doing REALLY well with her treatment and I REALLY want to surprise her with tickets...would mean the world to her, and to me... :)

I have to say 'Sara'.  Although a Fleetwood Mac song it was written by Stevie.  The song rings in many ways about true friendship, understanding, loss and forgiveness.  I personally couldn't be in any way more related to all this.  Watching her do this song on 'Youtube' can be downright chilling.

I've always loved Stevie Nicks song "Just Like A One-Winged Dove."  She has such a presence to her; really enjoy the mystery of her.  Would love to take my partner to see her in concert.  She's one of our favorites!  Peace!

My favorite Stevie song is Landslide...always brings me to tears, and then reckoning. Every woman who has been in a relationship long than happy hour and through getting a drawer at his place knows those words so well. But her duets are magically...Leather and Lace, Whenever I call you Friend....magic on a stick...with a long flowing dress.

Old enough to enjoy Stevie's voice on my car radio as new releases when a freshly licensed teen, it would be FAR OUT COOL to hear "The Chain" live!!!

i remeber sitting in my sisters bedroom when i was 8 or 9, the only light in the room was candles~ on the nightstand, dresser & floor. on the record player was rumors.. all five of us singing "dreams" like a choir. i sang "landslide" in a talent contest in jr high. i quoted "stop draggin my heart around" to an ex during a break up in my 20s. the first time i saw my husband, "rooms on fire" was playing in the jukebox. i remember singin that song the next day with him on my mind.  my hair is down to my waist because i wanted to look like her. her voice is the back ground music to my life! :)

Landslide. Not only because it is a beautiful song and it completely calms me down, but a good friend of mine once told me about a night where one of his family members had a little too much fun and spend a portion of the night on the living room floor loudly (and obviously drunkenly) singing along to it. It puts a smile on my face every time.

The entire Bella Donna album!  If I have to pick a fave one - I think 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' would be the top one.
