James Blake at First Avenue: Win a pair of free tickets

• Hey, it's my hubby's last bday in his 50's and this would be a great present. He loves all types of music and particularly loves to hear live music in a venue smaller than the Metrodome!

• I want to win because I already got screwed out of Wilco presale tickets this morning and could use a bit of good luck on the music front.

• Because I didn't get to see his last show. And who doesn't like winning?

• I'd really hate to end the year NOT seeing one of my favorite new artists. 

• Somebody showed me dubstep one day, and I wondered if anybody went 'beyond' it. James Blake happened to be in that category, and as a keyboardist personally, I fell in love with his style. Also, when anybody collaborates with Bon Iver as a side project, you know they're legit.

• Had a blast at his Entry show and can't wait to see him again!

• You should pick me as the winner because I'm too broke to go but Mr. Blake's cd is probably my favorite CD of the year. I can't stand dubstep but his sound is so much more interesting than any of the similar artists that are gaining much traction (ok Burial and Mt. Kimbie are exceptions). Send me to the show so I can rant to all of my raver friends about it and do my part to change the direction of electronic music

• I want to see James Blake because I think that's about the lowest bass I've heard a song go that wasn't on a MEGA BASS tape.  Vibrate my body baby.

• I've never seen him live before and think it will be one of the shows of the year!

• I would love to hear how his live show compares to his recorded music. I'm sure he would blow my mind.

• I want to go for free because "there's a limit to my funds."

• I just can't make up my mind if I want to go or not. Winning tickets would make up my mind for me.

• Frankly, James Blake's debut LP did not resonate with me. However, I've had countless friends gush over his Entry set that I can't help but be intrigued by his live prospects. I'd like to check it out for myself, and possibly become a convert.

• James Blake is brilliant!

• In between a futile search for employment ("Why Don't You Call Me"), a fading relationship with my parents ("I Never Learnt to Share"), and the sorrow of missing my friends in my former city of residence ("Limit to Your Love"), I woke up Friday morning to find that my garden fell victim to the icy scythe of death ("[Warm?] Air and Lack Thereof"). Unluck, indeed. I need this.

• The better question is why WOULDN'T you want to see James Blake.  Everything the guy puts out is amazing.  I missed the Entry show and do not want to miss this.

• It's been four months since his last performance and my friends are still talking about it. That's why I want to see James Blake. So that in December I have something to talk about.
