Mr. Dibbs benefit at Honey tonight

​Last month, we learned that onetime Rhymesayers recording artist and Atmosphere tour partner Mr. Dibbs has been battling liver disease. Unable to work and behind on his medical bills, Dibbs (born Brad Forste) put out a call to the community for help -- and tonight, at Honey in Northeast Minneapolis, a handful of Twin Cities rappers including Kristoff Krane and Sector 7G will perform at a benefit to help the ailing Cincinnati native. Mr. Dibbs has been undergoing a series of surgeries after being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, and was most recently hospitalized last month. As we reported at that time, the artist's friends have already set up a Facebook page, PayItForward2MrDibbs, to get the word out about his illness and request financial assistance from the hip-hop community.
