Paul Westerberg makes cameo in new Glen Campbell video, directed by Minnesota native Kii Arens

Replacements fans will recognize a few familiar qualities in Glen Campbell's new video for "Ghost on the Canvas," the title track from his farewell album. Not only was the song written by Paul Westerberg, but the video begins with a shot quite similar to that used in the 'Mats' video "Bastards of Young" and features a cameo from Westerberg himself.

The video was directed by St. Paulite Kii Arens, a musician who once played in Flipp and who now lives in L.A. pursuing a career as a rock poster designer, graphic artist, and videographer.

Great to see some familiar names and faces working with Glen Campbell on what looks like will be his final studio recording.  Thought this was so cool I wrote about it on my blog today at Ghost On The Canvas

Hoping somehow Glen can maybe get around to recording a few more Westerberg songs while's still able. Love his take on Ghosts on the Canvas!
