TC Hip Hop Awards post 2011 nominees

The TC Hip Hop Awards have traditionally aimed to draw attention to lesser-known acts, but there are many names on this year's list that will be familiar to those who only casually follow the local rap scene. There are also a few seemingly repetitive categories (i.e. the Best Kept Secret and Most Slept On sections), but it may just be an excuse to feature as many artists as possible, as there aren't actually that many repeat nominees throughout the poll.
The page that displays all the nominees and allows you to vote is a little wonky, so we're reprinting the full list of choices here for easier readability, but once you've had a chance to check out the nominees you can cast your vote here.
The actual date for the awards show has yet to be announced, but in the past it's been held in First Avenue's Mainroom in late January and featured a variety of live performances. We'll post more info on this year's event when we have it.
