It looks like a busy year ahead for local rapper Carnage the Executioner, otherwise known as the "Fastest Rapper in the Midwest." Today, the beatbox extraordinaire gave us a kickoff to his 2012 agenda in the form of a brand-new music video, called
"Hunger." The video jumps between nighttime scenes in south Minneapolis featuring Carnage strolling and rapping with a sandwich in his hand,
and our star sitting before a one-man feast. In typical form, "Hunger"
features a healthy mix of lightning-fast wordplay, shit-talking, and
some self-deprecating humor. Check out the video below the break.
Ill Chemistry, Carnage's group with fellow emcee Desdamona, is set to
release a debut full-length record at the end of January through French
label Nato Records. Later this summer, Carnage will be putting out his
own solo record, Respect the Name -- his first release since last
January's Worth the Wait dropped. Judging by this clip, we'll respect him enough to stay out his way in the buffet line.
