Bonnaroo 2012 lineup: Prince & Bon Iver atop unconfirmed list

Bonnaroo_2012_logo.jpg
It is with a bit of skepticism that we present the 2012 Bonnaroo lineup, which has yet to be officially confirmed by anyone aside from "the internet." has since been confirmed, and the real lineup can be found here.

It would be impressive to see Prince emerging from an enormous purple tent wearing platform hiking boots to perform in Manchester during the weekend of June 7-10. Add our Grammy baby Bon Iver to the mix, and it's a Midwestern invasion!

Most of the rest of the bands listed fit the stereotypical mode for the yearly outdoor festival (Corrosion of Conformity, though?), but it's always just a little bit too easy to say that Radiohead and Phish are performing. See the flyer below and form your own theories.

Parties close to this matter have thus far said, "We cannot confirm or deny reports at this time."

By the way, if you know someone who creates fake Bonnaroo, Coachella, and Lollapalooza lineup posters, they're probably not the person you want listed as your emergency contact on insurance forms. We will update this posting with more credible news when it comes along.

They just released the official lineup. No Prince. Some of this poster was accurate....Radiohead, Phish, etc. No Danzig either!

That would be my hometown. So BORING. Bonnaroo used to be amazingbut now its too MTV. Not a good thing. Its not a hippie fest anymore :(

So a hippie fest is preferable?

People have a lot of bad things to say about the mythical "hipster," but hippies are far worse. I'll take a hipster fest any day.

Color me Skeptical that Danzig, Alice Cooper, & Corrosion of Conformity are playing a hippie festival. But I guess Gwar has played there before so who knows?
