Huey Lewis, one smooth character

​Huey Lewis & the News broke out of San Francisco 30 years ago and throughout their best radio years, scored 19 singles in the top 100. With all those hits, seeing the smooth sultan of '80s adult contemporary and his band in the flesh would surely be a fun treat and you can do so on May 20 at Mystic Lake.

​Rocking a look not unlike Don Johnson's "Sonny" in character in Miami Vice with his breezy suit-and-T-shirt combo, Lewis was always sporting Ray Bans and a wink for the ladies behind them. His  raspy rock ballads on third album Sports made him an early MTV video star, with four singles from the record launching into the Billboard top 10.
