Aerosmith's Global Warming tour launches in Minneapolis

Categories: Just Announced
Aerosmith will begin its 18-date summer tour this June at Target Center. Dubbed the Global Warming tour, the seminal Boston band will bring Cheap Trick along for the North American dates that carry between mid-June and early August.

"The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with yur (sic) mothers," is what frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler had to say about this slate of dates.

This marks the first Minneapolis date since 2006's stop on the Route of All Evil tour after the band had to cancel in 2009 when Tyler toppled off the stage during a South Dakota gig.
According to Rolling Stone, the group has been hard at work on a new album in Los Angeles with producer Jack Douglas.

Tickets for this initial leg of the tour go on sale Saturday, March 31, but presales can be accessed via this link here.

My Voice Nation Help

All the guys in the band have plenty of money, right? How righteous would it be if they donated 100% of their profit towards cancer research, or educating our children?

Maybe 20 years ago, someone cared.. Now we just want grandpa to hang it up eh. Please..

How about you educate your own children, you societal leech.Take responsibility for yourself. Why should anyone else have to pay for you? If they are good enough to draw people in, then they are entitled to their earnings. Nobody is making you buy a ticket. Get over yourself.

People still want to see them, maybe you dont, but nobody is forcing you to buy a ticket. In fact, nobody wants you to go, because enough people out there do care. go complain about somethign else
