Aerosmith's Global Warming tour launches in Minneapolis
![]() |
"The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with yur (sic) mothers," is what frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler had to say about this slate of dates.
This marks the first Minneapolis date since 2006's stop on the Route of All Evil tour after the band had to cancel in 2009 when Tyler toppled off the stage during a South Dakota gig.
According to Rolling Stone, the group has been hard at work on a new album in Los Angeles with producer Jack Douglas.
Tickets for this initial leg of the tour go on sale Saturday, March 31, but presales can be accessed via this link here.
