This week's cover story delves into the story of Daniel Levy, son of the Honeydogs' lead singer Adam Levy, who took his own life at only 21 earlier this year. Unsurprisingly, there are references to the father-son bond that pop up in lyrics back to when Daniel was a young child. Due to an enormous amount of openness by Levy and his family, City Pages was able to be close to them during a period of intense grief, but also learn about many impressive aspects of their departed son, brother, cousin, and friend.

In addition to there being a considerable amount of evidence that Daniel Levy was an extraordinary artist, here's proof that he knew how to execute some pretty dirty maneuvers on a skateboard.
"Dan Levy - Dirty Maneuver" was assembled from clips expertly filmed by his friends between 2008 and 2010 in Upstate New York. It was played at his memorial service in mid-February.
