The fourth annual Memory Lanes Block Party should once again fill Minneapolis's Memory Lanes parking lot with great music over the course of Memorial Day Weekend.

The free, three-day, all-ages music fest will feature 29 wide-ranging bands spread out over venue's three separate stages, with plenty of drinks, food, and fun available for all types of music fans, both young and old.

Leading the pack is Chicago mash-up experts the Hood Internet, who have a running dialogue going on their Soundcloud between hip-hop and electro, dubstep and indie rock.

The Block Party kicks off at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 25, with a spirited, punk-fueled lineup, then shifts to a more indie-centric affair on Saturday headlined by the aforementioned Hood Internet, while Sunday closes things out with surf-rock headliners Los Straitjackets, a reunited Hypstrz set, and a classic, roots-based bill earlier in the day.

No matter what music you are into, the Memory Lanes Block Party will have something to suit you, and introduce you to some bands you haven't seen before as well. All under the (hopefully) clear late-May sky, this free, all-ages affair should jump start everyone's music-filled summer. All three days of the block party gets started at 3 p.m.

That's some obscure-looking bs. Must be good to be a hipster!

So there's 6 bands worth seeing all weekend?

6 bands you've heard of doesn't mean 6 bands worth seeing. This is a great, eclectic lineup.
