Vanilla Ice and Kevin Garnett visit Timberwolves on Friday
Although "Ice Ice Baby" is nearing its 22nd birthday and Vanilla was recently given the backhanded compliment of a number six on SPIN's list of pop's 30 most reviled musicians, this song rings out much better than the Britney Spears, 'N Sync and LMFAO the Timberwolves have had on their headphones of late.
Also, if there's anything to soften the blow of the constant rebuilding the Minnesota Timberwolves have faced pretty much since Garnett left the team and started winning division titles and cooking the 2008 NBA title like a pound of bacon, it's the ever-persevering Robert Van Winkle. The guy reinvented himself as a Insane Clown Posse-aligned, Juggalo-friendly property a couple years ago, and has been raking in the cash literally rebuilding homes on The Vanilla Ice Project.
The action begins at Target Center Friday at 7 p.m. Grab tickets here.
