The 2012 Basilica Block Party lineup has been revealed. Headliners include Avett Brothers, Train, Fitz & the Tantrums, and more.

We already know that Wilco is not taking part, but the 12+ performers set for the July 6-7 festival at the Basilica of St. Mary grounds in downtown Minneapolis are all below.

Friday, July 6

Sun Country Stage
Train 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Head and the Heart 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Mat Kearney 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Walser Stage

Cake 8:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Imagine Dragons 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Tyrone Wells 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Vita.mn Stage
Phantom Tails 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Prissy Clerks 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
A. Wolf & Her Claws 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Saturday, July 7

Basilica Block Party. Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7. $40 for single day tickets ($45 after June 25), or $70 for a two-night pass ($80 after June 25).

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5. Buy Friday tickets here, and Saturday tickets here. Barrio Tequila Bar locations (click here) around the Twin Cities will also have tickets for sale.

Cities 97 Frequent Listener Club Members pre-sale is May 3 and 4. VIP tickets are also available for $150-$250. More info here.

I'd like to see several of these bands.  Hopefully they've lined up other gigs in the area that weekend because there's no way I'm giving the catholic church a dime.

Actually, the festival doesn't benefit the Catholic church but just the restoration of a building on the National Register of Historic Places and an outreach program that provides food, shelter, etc. for those in need... you should probably check your facts before you make assumptions.
