With the recent spate of nice weather, you can forgive Twin Cities music fans for letting their minds wander to the outdoor music season. And, with the string of great local street festivals and events planned for next month, you might just wish that May would hurry up and get here already.
Add the 4th Annual Lyn-Lake Street Fest on Sunday, May 20 to the growing list of can't miss concert events, as the free outdoor festival on Lyndale Avenue has once again assembled a fantastic and diverse local music line-up that is sure to be a guaranteed good time for music lovers of all types, while also raising money for the local YWCA and Joyce Food Shelter in the process.
Festivities for the free festival kick-off at noon on May 20, and run until 7 p.m. In addition to the bands listed below, there will be two very special guests that will also be announced soon. Summit beer is providing refreshments of the of-age festival attendees, while Ian Rans of Drinking With Ian will be the host of the all-day affair.
