Bastille Day Block Party, Red Stag Block Party lineups announced

Not only do partner restaurants Barbette and Red Stag Supper Club continue to provide local foodies with some of the best eats in town, but each venue hosts two of the most entertaining free block parties for Twin Cities music fans each summer. The lineups for both Barbette's Bastille Day Block Party and the Red Stag Block Party have just been announced, and both events promise to be among the many musical highlights of the Minnesota summer.

Peter Wolf Crier, A. Wolf & Her Claws, Sleep Study, and Prissy Clerks are among the strong lineup for the Bastille Day Block Party, which will be held on Sunday, July 15, from 3-10 p.m. outside of Barbette on Irving Avenue. It's a free, all-ages affair, and should have plenty of entertainment for music fans both young and old.

While Rogue Valley, Mayda, and the Honeydogs are among some of the stellar acts set to perform at the Red Stag Block Party on Sunday, August 5, also between the hours of 3-10 p.m. This is also a free, all-ages event set outside of the Red Stag in Northeast Minneapolis.

Both events boast terrific food options which are locally raised and farmed (just like they are in their corresponding restaurants), and the block parties also aim to be zero-waste events.

Here are the initial lineups for both block parties, with more bands to be announced for each event sometime soon.
