Weekend Checklist: Soundset, LMFAO, Edward Sharpe, Memory Lanes Block Party

Despite the "Twin Cities hip-hop scene being oversaturated" this is the weekend that the Twin Cities hip-hop scene looks forward to the most. If you're thinking of heading down to Shakopee on Sunday for Soundset, better head there early or carpool; last year the traffic was held up for two hours. Memory Lanes will be hosting a free block party all weekend for those looking for a cheap good time. Among the locals to release albums this Memorial Day Weekend are The Broken Bicycles, The Cavalier Crooks, Urges From Elsewhere, Sarah Cotner, Jack Klatt & The Cat Swingers, Kristoff Krane, and Grolar Bears.
