Gimme Noise decided to add something different to the usual slideshow song and dance for Rock the Garden's 2012 running at Walker Art Center. Perhaps it was some gleeful excitement that we got through the event with virtually no rain, or maybe it was just a result of so many eye-massaging images taken by photographer Erik Hess. As you can see above, the day -- featuring music by the Hold Steady, Trampled by Turtles, Doomtree, tUnE-yArDs, and Howler -- did include a fair amount of crowd-surfing.
