Kiss, Motley Crue lead Minnesota State Fair 2012 offerings
Just when you thought they'd put everything on a stick already, local star power combines for this year's MN Music On-A-Stick show at the Minnesota State Fair.
As you can see at right, the lineup is a formidable collection of area talents, including the tuneful alt-rock stylings of Semisonic, the twangy goodness of the Jayhawks, Dessa's poetic hip-hop, and Jeremy Messersmith's sly wordplay and song structures. Dip them all in the fryer, and this is something that'll certainly leave less of an ache in your stomach than a visit to the doughnut hamburger stand.
Presented by 89.3 the Current, the show takes place at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 31 at the State Fair Grandstand and tickets cost $35. Pick some up here on June 29.
