The way to survive this weekend is lots of sunscreen and lots of water as River's Edge Music Festival comes to Harriet Island with big name bands like Tool and Dave Matthews Band. If fighting crowds in the heat is not your thing, Foster the People will be returning to Minneapolis and The Pines will be entertaining with their brand of acoustic mountain-folk melodies at the MN Zoo. Pride will be taking over most of Minneapolis and bringing along one of Destiny's Child, Kimberly Rowland. Local CD releases this weekend come from MC Longshot, Nyteowl, and The Daredevil Christopher Wright.
