Going by the title of the Roots, Rock, and Deep Blues Festival alone, it would appear that there would be something for everybody at the South Minneapolis music festival. And, when you dig deeper into the stellar lineup for the day, you will find that to indeed be true, as a great, eclectic mix of bands are set to bring their talents to three separate outdoor stages from noon until 10 p.m. this Saturday, July 14, for the second annual Twin Cities' Roots, Rock, and Deep Blues Music Festival at Patrick's Cabaret, Harriet Brewing, and the brand new Mosaic Cafe on Minnehaha Avenue.
Set times and stages for each of the acts have just been announced, and you can find that information below.
Local rockers Bloodnstuff, the Goondas, the Japhies, and Grant Hart join bluesman Charlie Parr, the experimental strings of Sans Souci Quartet, the earnest country stylings of the Cactus Blossoms, the folk-pop of Steve Kaul & the Brass Kings, along with nearly 20 additional acts, in one of the area's most diverse and entertaining musical lineups of the summer.
