"We are a Democracy and we should have the freedom to choose who we want to marry!" the Material Girl screamed, before enjoining the crowd in a call and response. "Did you hear what I said? Are you going to vote no? Are you going to vote no?"

Given the show's proximity to Tuesday's election, and Madonna's reputation for provocation, it's not surprising that she dabbled in political banter. But the amount of time she spent on the state issue vs. the national election ("Now I don't care who you vote for, as long as you vote for Obama," Madge tossed off at one point) shows that gay marriage is an issue dear to the "Like a Prayer" singer's heart.
