STNNNG - "Brain-Dumb"

Hot on the heels of their memorable set at Shellac's curated ATP Festival in the UK, local rockers STNNNG have dropped a new, Jake Rapp-crafted video for the blistering "Brain-Dumb." The song is from their forthcoming new record, Empire Inward, which is set to drop sometime early in 2013. The fiery quintet have one last local show left in 2012, an Xmas Blowout at the Turf Club on December 22 along with fellow ATP participants Arcwelder, which should keep local music fans rocking long into the New Year.

The Chalice - "Crown On The Rocks (Live on Radio K)"

Picked To Click trio the Chalice continue their big, breakout year with an intoxicating in-studio performance at Radio K. The spirited ladies deliver a playful version of "Crown On The Rocks" while even managing a shout out to mom in the process. The song even features a soulful nod to the Fugees "Ready Or Not" tagged at the end, as the girls tip their collective caps to one of their musical influences.

Dirty Baby - Live at the Walker Art Center's McGuire Theater

The creative artistic trio of Nels Cline, David Breskin, and Ed Ruscha recently captivated Gimme Noise with their performance at the Walker. And now, thanks to the Walker's new online video channel which archives performances at the Art Center, those who weren't able to make the show can witness the entire engaging performance in this professionally shot video. The Walker was lucky to host this one-of-a-kind event, and fans of all three talented artists are now fortunate to be able to either relive the evening or witness the captivating show for the first time.

The New Standards - "Call Your Boyfriend"

In addition to charming local audiences with their recent holiday shows and a lovely new album, Sunday Morning Coming Down, the New Standards also released a video for their cover of Robyn's "Call Your Boyfriend." The theatrical clip was shot at the Woman's Club Theater, and was directed by Wyatt McDill. The wintry theme of the video is perfect for this time of year, even though it was shot during the summer on one of the hottest days of the year.

The Pinsch - "Wanna Gotta Gonna"

The exuberant rock quartet the Pinsch have just came out with a jocular, lighthearted video for the ultra-catchy, Ramones-like jam, "Wanna Gotta Gonna." Kids' dolls and various other toys play a major role in setting the charming scene of this video, which only adds to the high-octane song's effortless appeal.
