Duluth slowcore stalwarts Low have announced the tracklisting and cover art for their 10th studio album, The Invisible Way, and have just shared the first single from that new collection, the achingly beautiful but decidedly buoyant, "Just Make It Stop." The new record was produced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, and was recorded at Wilco's studio in Chicago last fall.

Low have also revealed a couple of Minnesota live dates on their current tour, kicking it off with a hometown date at the College of St. Scholastica's Mitchell Auditorium in Duluth on January 18, as well as a St. Paul show at the Fitzgerald Theatre on March 23, which will feature members of Trampled By Turtles as well as an interview with the band by the Current's Mark Wheat.

Tickets for the Fitzgerald Theatre show go on-sale to MPR members at noon today, January 9, and to the general public on Friday, January 11, also at noon. The show will be recorded for a future radio broadcast as part of the Current Sessions at the Fitz series.

In regards to The Invisible Way, Tweedy was quite honored to be asked to man the dials for the recording. "Low has made so many great records over the years, so I was pleasantly surprised they wanted to work with me at the loft," said Tweedy. "I felt privileged to work with them and be a part of this new record."

The Invisible Way is set to be released on Sub Pop records on March 19th, which also coincides with their 20th Anniversary as a band. After their short U.S. tour, the band are planning on heading to Europe for a series of live dates throughout April and May.
