After a hugely successful 2012, Trampled By Turtles are showing no signs of slowing down in the new year. In addition to embarking on a large U.S. tour which picks back up with a sold-out show at the Fillmore in San Francisco on Thursday, the acclaimed Duluth quintet are planning on celebrating their 10th Anniversary as a band in grand fashion with a series of shows planned throughout their home state of Minnesota in April and May, including a string of three consecutive nights at First Avenue and 7th Street Entry in mid-April.

There is also a show set for their hometown of Duluth on April 4, as well as May performances planned in Rochester, Grand Rapids, Brainerd, and Morehead.

Pre-sale tickets for all of the Trampled By Turtles' 10th Anniversary shows go on-sale this Wednesday, January 16 at noon CT. General on-sale tickets will be available at noon this Friday.

In addition to their big 10th Anniversary announcement, Trampled By Turtles are also set to perform as the musical guests this Wednesday night on Conan, who jokes in the description of the band that they are "named after the most ADORABLE way to die."

Members of Trampled By Turtles will also be playing with Low during the fellow Duluth band's upcoming performance at the Fitzgerald Theatre on March 23.

TBT are clearly not resting on their laurels, as 2013 is shaping up to be another banner year (as well as a historic one) for the band while their star continues to rise.

Dates:
April 4 - Duluth Entertainment Convention Center - Duluth
April 17 - First Avenue - Minneapolis
April 18 - First Avenue - Minneapolis
April 19 - First Avenue - Minneapolis
May 7 - Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall
May 8 - Reif Center - Grand Rapids
May 9 - Arrowhead Lodge - Brainerd
May 10 - Bluestem Center for the Arts Amphitheater - Morehead

The First Ave dates are expected to feature special guests The Pines, Erik Koskinen, Fat Kid Wednesdays, Real Bulls, Actual Wolf, Fever Dream, The Sans Souci Quartet, Corpse Reviver and more.
