Now, Sobiech's song has reached the top spot on iTunes -- above Macklemore, Daft Punk, and Justin Timberlake. According to Billboard, the song could sell as many as 200,000 copies this week, which would land it somewhere in the Hot 100 chart's top 20.

The Billboard story on Zach's single -- released with help from Rock the Cause to benefit the Children's Cancer Research Fund -- notes that its chart placement is still hard to gauge because it relies little on airplay -- KS95 and K-TWIN play it regularly -- and mostly on expected downloads. More than 30,000 downloads were accrued on Monday, reports suggest. The "Clouds" music video has now reached more than five million views.
On Thursday, Sobiech's funeral was held at the Church of St. Michael in Stillwater. According to the Pioneer Press, more than 1,200 people attended and sang "Clouds" together. We're here today to honor a kid who went down fighting and who didn't lose," said Rev. Mike Miller during the service. "Zach was someone who wanted everyone to know, 'You don't have to find out you're dying to start living.' "
